(Airedale to Wharfedale)
Walked up lanes to Hetton and then N on single track lane to Boss Moor. Very steep hills but magnificent views over Yorkshire Dales.
A bridleway took me over Threshfield Moor to Threshfield and then roads to Grassington. I managed to find an Internet cafe and then bought some new walking shoes.
We then walked over The Dales Way to Kettlewell. It was good walking limestone country but there is no water.

I got to Kettlewell and pitched my tent in an idyllic but remote site.

I was just catching up with my diary and blog when three friends arrived unexpectedly. Richard, Ray and Pete had driven 70 miles to see me. The three wisemen were also bearing gifts - pork pies, curry flavoured snacks and kiwi fruit!!
This is a retrospective view of Kettlewell.
