Wed June 2nd

Pete is wild camping tonight on the hills overlooking Edinburgh (between East cairn and West cairn) on the moor covered in cotton grass (so a little bit damp!!!). He managed to walk 21 miles (6 miles further than intended). The ankles are holding up (at present) with the help of painkillers and a tubigrip. Christopher and I are paying him a visit tomorrow returning his original (resoled) boots so hopefully this will give him the ankle support needed. He would like to thank everyone for their concern and hopefully will be able to update the blog himself soon. Zoe

    Thanks for keeping us posted Zoe - we'll have fingers and paws crossed for Pete's resoled boots doing the trick with his ankle - it must take iron will to keep going with constant pain.
